Sticklepath Fun Day

Here are two extracts from the local newspaper, showing just how much our dancing was enjoyed by the people who attended the Sticklepath Fun Day.

An article about the fun day...

July's continuous rainfall almost put a stop to Sticklepath's third community fun day, but a decision was made to continue, whatever the weather.

Activities moved into Sticklepath Community School hall for the fun afternoon on Friday...

Head teacher Toni Carter said several events planned for outdoors still took place, including a visit from some huskies and performances by Revolutions baton twirlers and dance group called Project:Dance!

"We all had a good time and there was a really good feel to the afternoon. Revolutions did a good job of entertaining us and Project:Dance! really helped create the atmosphere, bringing a 'feel good' factor to the event.

"They were the most amazing group, doing performances in the hall among the stalls and people, and their dance crossed all generations from primary school to senior citizens."

A letter...

Sticklepath fun day thanks
What a wet and soggy Friday for our fun day at Sticklepath Community School, however, the PTA, led by Sophie Trott, did a super job ...

It was incredible that so many of our community turned up to support our school, the school hall was buzzing with the throng of people who thoroughly enjoyed the dancing led by dance group Project:Dance! and baton twirlers Revolution.
